**UPDATED – the Digital City Awards venue has changed to the Albert Hall**

Entries for the first-ever Digital City Awards, which take place this March at the Albert Hall, have been extended until Friday, January 24th following a wealth of incredible entries.

You’ve got a few more days to complete your entry into the awards, which reward a dedication to innovation and making a difference in digital and tech. The awards, which form part of Digital City Festival, are intended to celebrate people and companies breaking the mould in their chosen specialisms.

Entries are being accepted nationally and globally, and the winners will be revealed at a gala dinner on March 12th. Tickets are on-sale now, and can be booked here.

As well as getting the opportunity to find out who’ll go home with an award, ticket-holders will also be treated to a drink on arrival, three-course dinner with wine, and entertainment to follow the prize-giving.

The awards ceremony coincides with the final day of Digital City Expo, which is a stone’s throw from the awards venue in the landmark Manchester Central. The expo, a cornerstone of the wider Digital City Festival, takes place over two days, and will unite global digital professionals, shining a spotlight on the North of England at the same time.

A range of leading exhibitors from marketing, tech, eCommerce, media and more will be present at the convention centre, as well as industry speakers presenting across both days. These include Social Chain’s MD, Katy Leeson; Very Group’s CTO, Andy Burton; and the Co-op’s Head of eCommerce, Chris Conway.
