“Excitement growing” for Digital City Festival as first ever Digital City Awards announced

**UPDATED – the Digital City Awards venue has changed to the Albert Hall**

The first-ever Digital City Awards will celebrate and reward the best work and innovation from a number of industries during Digital City Festival week.

The week-long festival is already shaping up to be an intrinsic part of the North’s thriving tech and digital scene, with unbridled potential for the whole community to engage and connect with other industry experts and businesses.

The Digital City Awards, on the evening of March 12th 2020, will play the role of crowning the best of the best working in the digital space, from creative marketing campaigns, responsible tech awards, voice innovation awards and many more for teams, individuals and organisations.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Albert Hall in Manchester, a truly iconic venue in the city centre, not far from where Digital City Expo will be taking place at Manchester Central on March 11th-12th.

There are a total of 27 different awards up for grabs, meaning plenty of opportunities for companies or individuals to become widely-recognised for digital excellence. You can see the different award categories here and download the entry form from the Digital City Festival website here.

Entries for the awards must be made before January 17th, with the two-stage judging session by established industry leaders taking place on February 11th.

Martyn Collins, Digital City Festival Director, said: “The excitement for 2020’s Digital City Festival is growing week on week and we are thrilled to have this opportunity to bring together multiple industries for a week-long showcase.

“The Digital City Awards, in particular, is set to be a fantastic evening. What better way to get yourself in front of potential new business partners than to win one of the first-ever Digital City Awards, or at the very least, enjoy a three-course dinner, drinks and networking with the community.”

It will cost £100 to enter the awards and ticket prices to attend range from £145 to £165.
