Steven Bartlett’s Flight Story launches ‘industry-first’ AI Audit

Steven Bartlett and Mo Gawdat

Steven Bartlett’s Flight Story is launching a new ‘AI Audit’ service under the leadership of recently appointed AI officer Mo Gawdat.

The digital marketing and comms agency says the service is an industry-first that will guide companies to becoming AI-enabled, allowing them to capitalise on the everchanging opportunities AI presents for their business and keeping them at the forefront of their industries. The service also aims to empower ethical AI that positively impacts human connection while ensuring a positive impact on humanity at large.

The service is Gawdat’s first order of business since stepping into the role of Flight Story’s Chief AI Officer last month, and he will be utilising his 30 years of experience at the forefront of disruptive technology, at the likes of Google X, IBM and Microsoft, to guide companies’ use of AI.

Gawdat’s priorities, says Flight Story, will be to:

  • Generate insights and intelligence on their marketing output
  • Produce the most innovative content possible
  • Streamline the media buying process
  • Design user-friendly, efficient, and imaginative websites and apps
  • Ensure optimum team productivity
  • Provide assurances for the safety, legality, and ethics involved in the company’s use of AI

The AI Audit will be entirely bespoke for Flight Story’s clients, taking into consideration the type of business, growth plans and goals, and any existing technologies already in use.

The Audit will span from an ‘introductory package’ entailing a half-day workshop that will endeavour to pinpoint key areas of focus for the business and bespoke actions recommending ways of working to a full, month-long Audit which will see Flight Story work with businesses to analyse current processes, in terms of costs and efficiency, and produce a gap analysis for future processes using AI with projected cost savings.

As it becomes apparent AI is here to stay, and businesses who fail to grasp its applications risk falling behind, Flight Story is launching this new service in recognition that AI “has the potential to dramatically increase the efficiency and creativity of marketing capabilities, whilst streamlining costs and time.” The marketing focus is the first iteration of the service, which over time, will be expanded to help companies benefit from the functionality of AI across other business verticals, such as HR, Operations, Legal, and so on.

Bartlett said: “Ensuring an ethical and responsible implementation of artificial intelligence is up to us as a human collective. This is the primary reason why we are launching an AI Audit at Flight Story. With many businesses experiencing AI-FOMO, struggling to understand where AI might be best placed within their organisation and how to put the tech to good use, we are now offering a new opportunity for companies. We wanted to create a service that would convey expert advice and guidance to the businesses that choose to stay at the forefront of what is possible every single day – the big businesses of tomorrow.”

Gawdat added: “Across the Flight Story business we have been working hard to create what will be an industry-first AI audit. We have a simple goal to access, educate and then counsel companies through this very complex realm. When more companies are empowered to make informed and ethical decisions, we all take a step closer towards a prosperous, safer and brighter future. The huge opportunity that AI presents to businesses today, if harnessed properly, is thrilling, and so I look forward to supporting as many organisations through this revolution as possible.”
