Bartlett’s Flight Story appoints MD of consulting at new Flight Strategy wing

Flight Story, the digital marketing and communications company, co-founded by Steven Bartlett and Oliver Yonchev, has appointed Tom Lindfalk as MD of consulting, leading the company’s Flight Strategy offering.

Having joined Flight Story journey at launch in October 2021, initially as a project manager and latterly as project director, Lindfalk’s understanding of the company’s vision makes him the perfect fit for his new role within the business’ new consulting offering.

Prior to working at Flight Story, Lindfalk was a senior consultant at PwC Consulting, with extensive experience of helping global organisations navigate technology transformation. Tom led some of PwC’s most complex, multi-year transformation programmes across brands including Natwest Group, LSEG, Sainsbury’s, Abrdn and Phoenix Group.

With the marketing and communications industry on the verge of the biggest transformation of this generation due to the exponential growth of technologies such as AI, Tom is well-placed to support the growth of Flight Story’s proposition, ensuring brands are kept at the forefront of this change.

Flight Strategy is the latest service offering to launch from Flight Story as it builds its 360-degree marketing and communications company.

As MD, Lindfalk will be responsible for Flight Story’s growth and profitability, implementation of strategy, oversight of client and company relationships, drive for new business opportunities and management of operational process and policy developments.

He will also continue to promote a progressive company culture, fostering employee engagement and progress while ensuring the wider team meets the company’s ethos of “keeping companies at the precipice of what is possible.”

With more than 10 years’ experience in consulting, advising some of the world’s biggest companies, the promotion further strengthens Flight Story’s leadership team and reinforces the company’s commitment to recognise and nurture talent from within, while empowering individuals to grow and achieve their full potential.

The latest appointment comes following last month’s announcement of AI expert, Mo Gawdat, becoming Flight Story’s Chief AI Officer, and recent company growth following the acquisition of two agencies (Flight3 & Flight Performance) and subsequent launch into the US market.
