Online beauty retailer, Justmylook.com, has announced a new partnership with Leeds-based ecommerce specialist, Northern Artillery, to carry out an overhaul of its 17,000+ product website.
The project will see Northern Artillery’s technical team undertake re-platforming of the site from Visualsoft to Shopify+, with its creative team also refreshing the entire UX approach to deliver fundamental improvements in the way consumers browse and navigate the site. Target outcomes will also be centred upon performance enhancements thanks to Shopify’s platform robustness – which include best-in-class product discovery and filtration options.
The appointment follows health & beauty sector successes for Northern Artillery in recent years with The INKEY List and Sunless by Jimmy Coco – and directly on the back of new Shopify+ site launches for both H&H Group’s multi-country Zesty Paws brand and new entrant to the sportswear market, SUDU, which recently announced itself to the world with an exclusive multi-year deal to provide kit to Premier League football club, Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Founder of Justmylook, Luke Williams, said: “As a family-run business, we take pride in being part of over 4 million customers’ journey towards self-expression and confidence. From salon-exclusive haircare ranges to on-trend cosmetics, we strive to be the ultimate destination for all things beauty – the re-platforming to Shopify+ and UX overhaul signaling clear intent to provide an even better experience for our loyal followers. We’re delighted to have Northern Artillery on board for our next phase of growth.”
Aside from the immediate benefits of switching to Shopify+, a number of exciting new features are in the pipeline including a new Justmylook app, a multi-faceted loyalty benefit scheme, enhanced reporting and analytics affording more detailed insights to brand partners and a market-leading one-click checkout experience powered by Shopify’s Shop Pay.
Liam Grogan, director at Northern Artillery, said: “I’ve followed Justmylook’s impressive progress with interest for several years,” he said. “The fact that we can now deploy the sum total of our extensive experience in ecommerce to aid the expansion and further growth of an already very successful health & beauty brand is really exciting.”
“I also want to pay tribute to the tireless efforts of the Northern Artillery team. Clients’ successes depend on the considerable expertise of our people and their ongoing capacity to deliver excellence is something that my fellow Directors and I are very proud of. We look forward to demonstrating what we’re about to Luke and his colleagues and to charting further growth and recognition for their brand.”
Founded in 2015, Justmylook has become a staple of UK online health & beauty retail, with over 1.2 million items shipped in the first quarter of 2024 alone.
