Aubergine has won a trio of new clients over the last few weeks across food, nutrition and health.
The Leeds-based agency will be working across PR, content and social media for One Planet Pizza, The Organic Protein Co and consultant urologist Dr Patrick Gordon.
One Planet Pizza is the UK’s fastest-growing plant-based pizza brand and has recruited Aubergine to launch new range of vegan-ready meals, developed exclusively for Asda.
“We’re really excited to be working with Aubergine at such an important point in One Planet Pizza’s 10-year journey. Their journalist-led approach really stood out to us, as well as their award-winning FMCG expertise,” explained Joe Hill, co-founder One Planet Pizza.
“They understand what makes a story genuinely interesting to the media, rather than simply putting a product in front of journalists. We’re looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together over the coming months.”

With The Organic Protein Co they’ll operate on an ongoing retained basis, supporting it with PR around the launch of a new product range, alongside thought leadership on protein, menopause and GLP-1s.
“Protein is such an important part of the conversation around health and nutrition right now, but there’s still a lot of confusion about how much we actually need and how that changes at different stages of life,” said Nikki Bearman, Project Coordinator for The Organic Protein Co.
“We’re really enjoying working with Aubergine, and have already been impressed with their proactivity in bringing the protein conversation in front of a wider audience.”
Finally Aubergine has been appointed by Leeds-based consultant urologist Dr Patrick Gordon to handle his social media strategy, content creation and profile raising content.
It will be developing a personality-led approach designed to make specialist urology topics more accessible and engaging online, while positioning Dr Gordon as a trusted expert across areas including men’s health, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, penile implants, fertility and testosterone.
“Urology covers some incredibly important issues, but they’re not always the easiest subjects for people to talk about or understand,” he said.
“I wanted to find a way to use social media to break down some of those barriers and share useful, accurate information in a way that feels approachable and engaging. Aubergine immediately understood that I didn’t want to create overly clinical content – I want people to get to know the person behind the expertise too.”
Emma Gardner, co-founder of Aubergine said of the wins:
“We’re really excited to be working across such a brilliant mix of food and health brands. On the face of it, pizza, protein and urology might not have much in common, but these brands and individuals all have head-turning stories worth sharing.
“Our background as journalists means we’re always looking for the strongest angles behind a brand, product or expert, and then finding the right way to bring them to life through PR, social and content creation. These three wins are a great example of the kind of work we love doing!”
