Lindsey Cook, Managing Director of Amplifi North, has stepped down from her role, less than a week after the announcement that Dentsu North’s MD had also departed.

Cook worked at Dentsu for almost 26 years, and led the largest trading team outside London. On her LinkedIn, she posted on February 2nd, confirming her departure. “Over the years, I have been extremely fortunate to have worked across various parts of the business and have worked with some amazing, smart and inspirational individuals… As sad as it is leaving my amazing talented team, it’s time for me to embark on the next exciting chapter”.

In her time at Dentsu, Lindsey worked on the rollout of a number of key global products and services for the network outside of London, including the launch of The Story Lab

On January 28th, we reported how Rachel McDonald had stepped down as Managing Director of dentsu North after three years in the role – with her departure itself coming not long after the announcement by Jo Sutherland, CEO of Carat, of her decision to leave the network.

Hamish Nicklin, Executive Director – Media at Dentsu UK & Ireland, said: “Lindsey has had an undeniable impact in shaping our UK business into what it represents today. She has consistently demonstrated an ability to provide our clients with a consistent approach that incorporates across all media trading, media partnerships and data management.

“Our media investment offering outside London represents a true Centre of Excellence and Lindsey’s amazing work with our media partners has been key in building that. I’d like to thank her and wish her the best in the next stage of her journey.”

The Dentsu Agency Network has gone through rapid transformation, announcing that it would unify its operations in the UK and Ireland. Hamish Nicklin will work with the Amplifi UK leadership team to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.

The network has a large office in Manchester, with smaller teams based in Leeds, Newcastle and Edinburgh, and a large cohort working in London.
