Creative communications agency, Pace, has made 3 senior hires across growth, PR and marketing.
The Hull-based firm has recruited Simon Lucey as its new Growth Director, to lead on new business strategy and identify new opportunities around the world.
Based in London, he’s spent a decade working in the sector, including founding youth marketing agency, Hype Collective, which worked with Co-op, Adobe and Deliveroo.
“Pace has built an impressive reputation and client base, but there’s a significant opportunity to build on that success,” he explained.
“My focus will be on sharpening our approach to new business, expanding into new sectors and attracting more national and international clients, while showcasing the breadth of what Pace can offer.”
Joining Lucey is Claire Bromley, who becomes Head of PR and Communications. Bromley has previously worked at Hill+Knowlton, Lexis and Blue Rubicon leading consumer and corporate campaigns for Sainsbury’s, Unilever and DFS.
“Pace has a strong integrated offer, with huge opportunity for PR to work harder alongside social, creative and content,” she said.
“I’m looking forward to building on the work we do for major brands such as Trex and Victory Leisure Homes. There’s exciting potential to develop ambitious campaigns that deliver real impact.”

“Pace does brilliant work for its clients, so my focus is on applying that same thinking to the agency itself,” said Goff.
“There’s a great story to tell about the people, expertise and work here, and I’m looking forward to helping make the agency front of mind for brands looking for an ambitious integrated partner.”
Anita Pace, Founder and Managing Director of Pace added:
“We’ve built a fantastic team and client base over the past 11 years, and our focus now is on accelerating that momentum. We want to attract more ambitious brands and continue developing the integrated work we’re delivering for clients.
“Simon, Claire and Sally bring a huge amount of experience and complementary expertise to the business, but just as importantly, they share our ambition for what Pace can become.”
