Sway jets off with Heathrow’s CFL

Sway PR is to deliver media relations for CFL – Heathrow’s only on-airport express courier service.

The Manchester agency will supply crisis communications planning, media training and media relations in a 12-month deal.

CFL is owned by global courier operators and airlines, including FedEx, DHL, Skynet and Virgin. It provides export, import and screening services for courier companies and a fully equipped facility for ground handlers and airlines. It’s the link between the courier industry and the airlines operating out of Heathrow.

“We needed someone who really understood the business and what we are looking to achieve – and the Sway PR team did just that,” explained Matthew Ware, Managing Director at CFL.

“We work in a very specialist and nuanced industry – Mark and Guy have both taken the time to understand the business and have already added real value with their consultancy.”

The new win comes months after Sway added a Scottish presence to its offices in Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield.

“CFL is a fantastic addition to our expanding agency and we look forward to adding real value to the communications and PR strategy for them over the coming year,” added Matthew Ware, Managing Director at CFL.

“Having been founded to improve the processing of express goods through Heathrow, the business is now poised for growth – and we are delighted to join the team to help make that happen.”
