A fast-growing cybersecurity company that provides a ‘one click fix’ to help businesses comply with security standards has raised £1m to support its further expansion.
OneClickComply has secured investment from the North East Accelerate Fund, which is managed by Mercia Ventures and offers up to £1m investment for early-stage companies across the region; the Venture Sunderland Fund, and the Northstar EIS Growth Fund, which are both managed by Northstar Ventures.
The Sunderland company can automate up to 90% of the work involved in achieving standards such as Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 or SOC 2. Its platform continuously monitors IT systems, automates processes such as penetration testing and vulnerability management, generates policies and gathers information for auditors.

The platform can automatically configure security settings across programs such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and AWS with a single click – removing what is otherwise a laborious manual process. Once certification has been achieved, the platform will detect and fix any issues that arise to ensure ongoing compliance.
OneClickComply was launched in 2024 by Connor Greig, who recognised the need to simplify cyber compliance in his previous role working with businesses within the Octopus Group. It now employs 12 staff and serves dozens of customers ranging from a leading fast food brand to solo traders.
The company has doubled monthly recurring revenue in the past six months and aims to achieve similar growth in the six months ahead. The latest funding brings the total raised to date to over £2.4m, and will enable the business to further enhance its technology, boost sales and customer service and create four new jobs.
Co-founder and CEO Greig said: “Every business now gets asked to prove its systems are secure, usually by a customer who’s about to sign. The answer shouldn’t be three months and a consultant. We automate 90% of the work, fix the issues we find instead of just reporting them, and keep everything in place afterwards, which is the part everyone forgets about. That’s why we’ve doubled revenue in six months – because this problem isn’t going anywhere.”
Owen Conquest from Mercia Ventures added: “OneClickComply offers a unique value proposition through its ability to automatically detect and remediate data compliance issues without the need for specialist intervention. This investment will support the company’s continued growth, enabling it to capitalise on the increasing demand for automated compliance solutions driven by strong regulatory and market tailwinds.”
