Tributes have been paid to Peter Martin, who’s died at the age of 82.
The actor played Len Reynolds on Emmerdale for 6 years and also appeared as Joe Carroll, the Royle’s neighbour on the Royle Family.
Ricky Tomlinson said he was “absolute joy to work with and a brilliant actor. He will be sadly missed.”
Born in Lincolnshire he went on to appear in some of television’s most enduring hits, including All Creatures Great and Small, Last of the Summer Wine, Juliet Bravo and Coronation Street. He also appeared in the Brassed Off film.
Between 2001 and 2007 he played the role of Len Reynolds on Emmerdale.
More recently he appeared in Skins and the movie, Walk Like a Panther.
