Burgess Pet Care, one of the UK’s leading family-run pet food manufacturers, has appointed Prohibition PR to lead its public relations activity as part of its growth strategy.
The partnership will spotlight Burgess Pet Care’s rich heritage, product innovation and long-standing commitment to animal welfare.
Of particular focus is the brand’s Burgess Excel range, which remains the market leader for small animal nutrition. Prohibition will support the brand’s upcoming campaigns and events including Guinea Pig Awareness Week, the UK’s only Guinea Pig Welfare Forum and the 20th annual Rabbit Awareness Week.
The appointment comes following a full agency review which saw Prohibition PR and digital agency Embryo appointed, as well as partners in web development, copywriting and design retained.
