Full-service marketing agency Perfect Storm has been appointed to support GEO Speciality Chemicals on business transformation, brand and communications strategy, following a competitive pitch.
Southampton-based GEO is on a transformative growth journey having been recently acquired by successful private equity fund The Enact Fund. The company is a world leader with over 30 years of experience providing high-quality, cost-effective speciality chemicals. GEO’s chemistries feature in a diverse range of products and applications that people encounter and rely on in their everyday lives. These include nail polish, contact lenses, dentistry, adhesives and specialist coatings.
Andrew Willson, CEO at GEO Speciality Chemicals, said: “2026 has been a huge year for GEO, but 2027 will be even more important and it is with great optimism that we look to the future with our new owners. We’re delighted to be working with Perfect Storm to help formulate our brand and communications strategies and we are already impressed by their marketing expertise and their extensive experience of driving business transformation.”
Dave Nutter, co-founder of Perfect Storm, added: “GEO is a business with huge growth potential, so it’s exciting to be working with the organisation during this pivotal time in their development. This is exactly the kind of brief we as an agency love to get our teeth stuck into, partnering with ambitious businesses looking to unlock growth through clearer strategy, sharper communications and stronger brand.”
Perfect Storm was founded in Leeds in 2016 by Errington and Dave Nutter. Alongside its permanent team, the agency works with a network of freelance specialists assembled according to individual client requirements. The appointment adds to the agency’s growing portfolio of work with businesses undergoing change, growth and transformation.
