durhamlane has won a new 6-figure contract from global electronics manufacturer, Belden.
It’s the latest US deal for the Newcastle agency, which in the last 12 months has started working with Nasdaq, Siemens, ABB, RS Group, Wolters Kluwer and British Council.
“We are incredibly excited about our expansion across the US and Canada,” said Jake Spence, Managing Director of durhamlane.
“The brands we work with have global operations and we have witnessed first-hand the success of our sales and marketing strategies for them. This has naturally led to requests for our support in expanding into international markets, allowing us to scale up globally. “
The agency reported a 31% growth in revenue over the last financial year, with turnover in excess of £6.3m – a quarter of this is through international sales.
That’s led to the hiring of 4 more multilingual staff. It has also created 7 new roles to strengthen its US offering – these will be based in Newcastle.
“While our methodologies are transferable to most global markets, further investment into our multi-lingual, international delivery team will allow us to deliver time-sensitive activities across different time zones and communicate effectively with local stakeholders, understand their needs, and establish trust and rapport,” continued Spence.
“Our customer success function has been instrumental in creating record growth revenues from our base and we are positioned perfectly to catapult ourselves into the new financial year continuing our upward trajectory and global expansion.”
