Manchester agency unveils new global structure as agencies race to scale in AI era

A Manchester agency group has unveiled a new global structure and leadership team as agencies across the industry rethink how they scale in the AI era.

Six & Flow Group has confirmed that Manchester-based Six & Flow, alongside Netherlands firms Bright Digital, Systony and BrixCRM, will now operate under a single integrated structure as part of plans to build what it describes as a global “AI-first HubSpot consultancy”.

The move, they say, brings together more than 175 specialists across the UK, the Netherlands, Canada and South Africa.

The companies had previously collaborated as part of a partner network but will now fully rebrand under the Six & Flow Group banner, creating one of the largest HubSpot partner ecosystems in Europe. The group also confirmed that further acquisition discussions are underway, with additional announcements expected later this year.

The shift comes as agency leaders across the North say the sector is undergoing significant structural change. In a Prolific North deep dive into how agencies are restructuring, leaders said many organisations are moving towards leaner senior teams supported by specialist networks and AI-assisted workflows.

Six & Flow’s new structure reflects its response to the same pressures as they scale through deeper integration across international teams and shared systems.

Over the past two years the companies have been working together across markets. The newly announced structure formalises that collaboration into a single organisation with shared leadership and infrastructure.

According to the group, the aim is to deliver consistent CRM, AI implementation and revenue transformation services for clients operating across multiple regions and markets. To support the next phase of growth, the group has introduced a new governance structure led by a Global Management Team.

Richard Wood has been appointed Global CEO, working alongside Erik van Diepen as Global CFO and a soon-to-be-appointed Global COO.

Van Diepen joins from VML Netherlands, part of WPP, where he served as CFO for nearly four years. He has also held senior roles at CRM company Emark and digital agency DigitasLBi.

The Global Management Team will be responsible for setting strategy and overseeing integration across the group’s international operations.

Supporting them is a wider Executive Leadership Team bringing together operational leaders from across the businesses. The team includes Gertjan van Vugt as Integrations Director, Henry van Olst as Director of Up-Market (EMEA), Martijn Rijnders, Founder and Director of Systony, Edwin Siebum, Founder and Director of BrixCRM, and Leigh Gough, Managing Director of Six & Flow.

Oversight will sit with a Supervisory Board designed to provide governance and long-term strategic guidance as the group expands.

Richard Wood, Global CEO of Six & Flow Group, said: “Becoming part of a larger group does not change who we are – it amplifies it. This structure allows us to move faster, think bigger, and deliver value for enterprise-level clients. With further acquisitions planned, we are building a truly global, AI-first HubSpot partner with the scale, depth and intent to lead the market.”

Erik van Diepen, Global CFO of Six & Flow group added: “Six & Flow Group is built on the strong foundations of our agencies, which we are now combining and integrating. By bringing together our people, collective knowledge and governance, we are creating the financial and operational clarity needed to scale globally while staying agile, accountable and client focused.”
