Hatch seeks to shake-up freezer aisle with craft pizza brand

One of Europe’s leading frozen pizza producers has turned to Hatch for its first-ever consumer brand.

Freiberger Group has worked with the agency to support the brand development and UK launch of Craft Pizza.

The new premium frozen pizza range aims to “shake up the frozen aisle and challenge perceptions of what frozen food can deliver.” 

Hatch was involved from the early stages of planning, developing the brand’s identity, packaging and creative assets. It will now work on an ongoing basis to lead PR, influencer and content strategy, alongside organic and paid social management.

“It’s been brilliant working with Freiberger UK on this launch. From the initial brief we knew this was the perfect fit for Hatch,” explained Alex Halls, Associate Creative Director at Hatch.

“The chance to build a brand from the ground up was an exciting prospect for the whole team involved. The response so far has been fantastic, with strong media coverage, standout influencer partnerships and loads more exciting plans for 2026.”

The Leeds agency has also produced a suite of lifestyle photography and video assets.
