Time To ACT, the North East-based group focused on technology for the energy transition supply chain, has appointed Sheila Beniams as non-executive director with immediate effect.
Beniams is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in recruitment, governance, and business strategy. A graduate of Stirling University with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies, her career spans over three decades, during which she has held key roles in both the private and public sectors.
Also based in the North East of England, Beniams currently leads a team for the Government Recruitment Service. In this role, she oversees the recruitment for senior civil service positions across various government departments. Her strategic leadership has been instrumental in setting and achieving objectives for high-profile recruitment campaigns, directly impacting the efficiency and success of government operations.
Her experience also includes leading large teams, managing high-pressure recruitment campaigns and driving initiatives that support diversity, inclusion, and social mobility within the Civil Service. Her understanding of stakeholder management and her ability to deliver under pressure make her an invaluable asset to any organisation looking to enhance its governance and operational effectiveness.
