Crafter’s Companion Sara Davies loves her new website – creator Outrank loves the publicity

Teesside digital marketing company Outrank has delivered a bespoke new website for North East celebrity entrepreneur Sara Davies – and she’s over the moon with the results.

The Crafter’s Companion founder and Dragons’ Den star wanted a new site to reflect her evolving brand and growing business portfolio, with an extremely quick turnaround. The team at Outrank, which provides a range of digital marketing services for businesses across the UK, stepped up to the challenge and delivered an “incredible” 150-page site in just five days.

Davies said: “The amazing team at Outrank pulled off nothing short of a miracle. They gave my website a massive overhaul to reflect my brand and business in record time, and the outcome is incredible.”

Davies also posted a gushing appraisal of Outrank’s work, along with a video, on LinkedIn following a recent visit to Outrank’s office. The post has so far attracted almost 1,000 reactions on the platform, which it’s fair to assume noone at Outrank is complaining about.

Sara has also introduced the business to several of her Dragons’ Den investments, with the team providing ongoing digital marketing support for a raft of start-ups that appeared on the recent series of the hit BBC show, including SKIN, Scoff Paper and YardArt.

Francesca Kosina, operations director at Outrank said: “Our entire team was thrilled to collaborate with Sara Davies to deliver a crucial makeover for her personal website. Sara needed the site to be ready in an incredibly tight timeframe, so we were literally all hands on deck. It was a tough brief, but made all the more easier due to Sara and her team’s organised and collaborative approach.”

Andy Taylor, sales team leader at Outrank, added: “We worked around the clock to create a beautiful, bespoke site that’s visually compelling and easy to navigate, whilst succinctly showcasing Sara’s multifaceted career. Our team’s commitment to the project was crucial, ensuring every one of the 150 pages was carefully crafted to align with Sara’s vision.”

Kosina concluded: “When Sara joined Dragons’ Den, she brought a completely fresh perspective. I was proud to see a businesswoman representing the North East of England on the panel. I speak for the entire team at Outrank when I say that having Sara Davies endorse us and compliment our delivery is truly wonderful, and it’s an honour to support both her and her other investments.”

Outrank, which first opened its doors in Middlesbrough in 2018, has experienced significant growth in the past 12 months and currently employs 33 people to deliver SEO, website design, digital PR and social media services to a broad range of clients. The Middlesbrough headquartered firm was recently awarded a position on the official UK’s Great Place to Work list for 2024, citing its strong company culture, positive work environment, a 33-hour working week, and industry-leading salary and perks packages.

The growing company delivers consistently excellent results for start ups through to large, established businesses in the UK, and has its sights set on international growth, with ambitions to establish bases in the USA and Middle East in the next five years.
