You got the Love as Matalan launches campaign with McCann Manchester


McCann Manchester is behind Matalan’s new Spring campaign, which is soundtracked by Sam Ryder’s cover of You Got the Love.

It’s a continuation of the retailer’s, More To Love, creative and features “positive and warm tones” for its women’s, men’s, kids and homeware products.

“‘More to Love’ is our best campaign yet.  It is reflective of our values, being famously affordable, but not compromising on style or quality,” explained Jeff Howarth, Matalan’s Omnichannel Marketing Director.

“This is an essential message during the cost of living crisis, which was a huge consideration for us when planning this positive, uplifting and value focused campaign.”

The campaign will run across video on demand, social media, TV, OOH, digital, radio, owned and earned channels.

“‘More to Love’ celebrates the fantastic range available at Matalan at great value,” added Dave Price, Chief Creative Officer at McCann Manchester.

“With Sam Ryder’s vocals bringing the campaign to life and adding some high energy magic.”

It will debut tonight during Love Island.
