TOWIE star Sam Faiers has instructed lawyers about unpaid promotional work she has done for Liverpool fashion brand Rare London, which went into administration last month.
Rare appointed administrators on July 26th and has made its 56 staff redundant. Faiers was contracted by the company to promote its Spring and Summer ‘capsule collection’, but says she was not paid.
A spokesperson for the 26-year-old told The Sun: “Samantha was contracted by Rare London to promote a Spring Summer capsule collection and as yet has not been paid for the work she carried out. Her team have made repeated attempts to contact the brand following feedback on social media however they have been unresponsive.
“We would like to highlight that Samantha has no other affiliation with Rare London or its associated companies. She has now instructed her lawyers on this matter.”
This is the second time Rare London, based on the Wellington Employment Park in north Liverpool, has gone into administration in the last four years. In 2013 administrators were called in and 100 jobs were lost.
