The Lettershop Group (TLG) has been acquired by Paragon Customer Communications.

The Leeds print and direct mail specialist was one of only two YM Group subsidiaries which weren’t placed into administration earlier this year.

The firm employs 142 staff and the acquisition is Paragon’s third so far this year.

“Paragon is committed to its acquisition-led growth strategy. Incorporating TLG will provide us with the opportunity to continue our growth trajectory and offer increasingly innovative solutions to our customers in a market that remains fragmented,” said John Rogers, Executive Director, Corporate Development, Paragon Group.

TLG will now become part of Paragon Customer Communications UK, Ireland and Luxembourg. Paragon stated that the move would give it “great  potential” for future growth, due to its client base.

“We are delighted to welcome TLG and our new colleagues to Paragon. Its industry knowledge, expertise and dedication to its customers will help to strengthen our position within an evolving market, and we are thrilled to begin working with its 142 committed staff members,” added Jeremy Walters, CEO of Paragon Customer Communications UK, Ireland and Luxembourg.

Paragon Group has an annual turnover of €1.5bn and more than 9,000 employees.
