Nick Aldrich (founder and former CEO of Hangar Seven) and Giles Mosley, co-founders of now-shuttered Sheffield creative agency Only the Brave, have launched ACI Studios, a “next generation content studio powered by Advanced Creative Intelligence.”
The platform, they say, is a proprietary AI platform engineered to deliver on-brand visual content at scale and at a competitive price.
ACI Studios puts creative expertise first and technology second. While the platform is powered by AI, it’s guided by deep knowledge of brand identity and visual excellence.
Aldrich and Mosley say they recognise that AI is nothing without the creative expertise to distinguish exceptional imagery from mediocre output and that understanding is embedded in every layer of the business.
Unlike studios adding AI to existing workflows, ACI Studios has a full time development and R&D team dedicated to the platform. The business is committed to continuous innovation, ensuring Advanced Creative Intelligence remains at the forefront of AI capability while producing increasingly accurate, on-brand imagery.

“The platform is the business,” said Aldrich. “But the platform only works because we know what good and bad looks like. We’re reinvesting heavily in R&D with a dedicated team constantly refining models, improving output quality and expanding creative control all guided by deep brand and image expertise.”
The platform handles the entire creative pipeline, image generation, enhancement, versioning, formatting and delivery. Crucially, it learns and improves over time, producing imagery that’s faster, more cost effective and more consistently on brand with each iteration.
Mosley, whose background spans brand strategy and photographic art direction ensures creative quality and brand integrity remain central: “AI can generate images, but it takes expertise to create the right images,” he said. “Our platform exists to scale quality without compromise and that’s only possible because we understand brand nuance and visual identity at a fundamental level.”
