New hires, new office, same Pixel Kicks at Manchester agency

Pixel Kicks, the Manchester based full-service digital agency, has grown its team by over a quarter and moved into a new, 3,0000 sq ft office in Manchester City Centre’s Swan Buildings – it was previously based in nearby Virginia House for over 10 years.

The move is part of Pixel Kick’s strategic growth plans. Over the past year, it has onboarded over 40 clients and aims to increase its turnover to £1.75m in the next 12 months.

Pixel Kicks has recruited four new members of staff, taking its total headcount to 22. The new starters are: Justyna Kowalska who has joined as a UX/UI designer; Jordan Porter, project coordinator; Dominic Adam, digital marketing executive; and Molly Barton who is the agency’s newest digital marketing executive.

The agency has also announced that Jamie Swain has been promoted to digital marketing manager. Swain joined Pixel Kicks in 2013 as an apprentice. His new role will see him leading the digital marketing team, overseeing campaigns for clients and ensuring that campaigns are successfully delivered.

Chris Buckley, MD of Pixel Kicks, said: “Despite living in challenging economic times, the last couple of years has seen strong performance across the business. It became clear that in order to grow we needed more space so the move to Swan Buildings is great news. Our heart lies in Ancoats, so we wanted our new base to be here. Although we offer a flexible working from home policy, we see the office as an intrinsic part of developing an inclusive and vibrant culture. It took us a while to find the right place, but we are delighted to now be settled, and I know it’s going to be fantastic springboard for the next phase of growth.”

Pixel Kicks was established in 2011 and is made up of an experienced team of creative and strategic specialists working across web design, SEO, social media, PPC, digital PR, photography, video production, mobile app creation and brand development. Its diverse client roster includes companies working in the healthcare, professional services, FMCG, tech, manufacturing, education, property and construction sectors.

Buckley added “I am delighted to welcome Justyna, Jordan, Dominic and Molly. All have hit the ground running and are fantastic additions to our team.”
