Tangerine has appointed Sam Fisk, the Lib Dems’ former Head of Media as its new Associate Director.
He joins the Manchester agency’s corporate team, which has recently been bolstered by Luke McDowell becoming Corporate News Director and the launch of its crisis comms simulator, The Crisis Lab.
“Leaving Westminster was a big change; it was such a fast-paced environment it was imperative that my next move was equally as rewarding and challenging,” explained Fisk.
“Tangerine’s creative energy and commitment to innovation, especially in the way they approach corporate and B2B communications, is what particularly attracted me, but since joining I’ve been blown away by how this plays out in practice across the business.”

While in Westminster he played a lead role in the Lib Dem’s flagship campaign on Sewage in the Rivers and also its strategy to increase its number of seats from 15 to 72.
Prior to joining the party in 2021, Fisk held communications roles at Hitachi Rail, Virgin Trains East Coast and non-profit, Room to Read.
“Sam’s background in public affairs and reputation management adds real strength to our senior team,” added Tangerine CEO Sam Gregory.
“Our corporate division is expanding quickly, and Sam will help us continue to deliver the tangible business impact that is so important for our client partners.”
