Hatch hopes to make Lammy Lamb the next kids’ animated household braaand

Hatch has teamed up with Yorkshire entrepreneurs Claudia and Matthew Hurst to launch their latest animated creation, LAMMY, into the world of children’s entertainment.

LAMMY follows the adventures of Lammy Lamb and his friends and has been designed to educate children under the age of four through three-minute episodes diving into the magical world of song and story-telling.

Hatch has been enlisted to champion LAMMY’s cause as a press office and content creation powerhouse, illuminating the path for children and parents alike who yearn for enriching screen time experiences. Their mission extends beyond Yorkshire as they unveil LAMMY on a national scale within the entertainment, animation and education space also.

LAMMY was inspired by the Hurst’s experiences raising their own son, Rocco. Frustrated by the lack of diverse and educational content in the animation world, the couple embarked on a mission to redefine the genre. In 2022, they brought Lammy Lamb and his friends to life.

This year, the enchanting world of LAMMY officially came to life with its very own YouTube channel, with the debut trailer posted last month and four full episodes currently live.

Each enchanting episode follows Lammy Lamb, along with his trusty companions Pup Pup and Bobsie, as they embark on adventures filled with play, exploration, and invaluable life lessons, and soon, an educational quiz app will follow suit.

James Hickman, managing partner at Hatch, commented: “LAMMY is an absolute delight that’s impossible to forget, it quite literally gets stuck in your head. Claudia and Matt bring an abundance of experience to the table, and we’re thrilled to join them in unveiling what is bound to become a sensation.”

Matt Hurst, Co-Founder at LAMMY, added: “Being Yorkshire natives, the choice was crystal clear – Hatch was the agency for us. Their creativity aligns perfectly with our vision for LAMMY and the message we want to convey. We’re thrilled to be working with them and already view them as an extension of our team.”
