Nexer Digital has recorded its highest ever revenue, in its 17th anniversary year.
The Macclesfield company has achieved a £10.5m income, which is up 12% year-on-year. It stated that profits had “held firm” even with investments in staff, which have grown from 90 to 112 over the last 12 months.
In addition to its Cheshire head office and Cambridge, it has also added staff in India and Colombia.
“Many of our clients serve global markets and their customers have expectations that extend beyond traditional business hours,” said Hilary Stephenson, Managing Director of Nexer Digital.
“Our investment in building out affordable, trusted services that run 24/7, 365 days a year, has allowed us to re-imagine our delivery squads, with people aligned to our projects in Colombia, Sweden and India, as well as throughout the UK. As inclusion is at the heart of everything we do, our investment in key technology partnerships positions us well to support customers with the challenges and opportunities they will face with the upcoming European Accessibility Awareness Act in 2025.”
Nexer Digital designs and builds digital products and services for clients including Royal Holloway University, The University of Cambridge, The Met Office, Historic England, and the Energy Savings Trust.
“We are seeing the benefits of our strategy coming to fruition. Next, we plan to leverage our expertise in accessibility to make workplaces more inclusive and productive for people typically denied access to work or struggling with inadequate tools, processes and communication,” added Stephenson.
“The company will focus on inclusive, ethical and user-friendly approaches to new technology, including AI through Microsoft Copilot, challenging poor usability and resource consumption in workplace tools to make digital work life more accessible and sustainable.”
