Former Branded3 managing director David Crawford has launched a new venture, The Digital Strategy Unit.
The business will works in two areas – working with agencies on the performance of their digital operation at a business level, and with clients on the performance of digital as a business and communications channel.
Crawford has more than 20 years of agency experience and has worked for the likes of McCann, BJL, twentysix, MadeByPi and, most recently, Branded3. His clients have included American Airlines, UPS, Walt Disney, Bentley, P&G, Virgin Holidays and Travelex.
“I believe there is a gap in the market for impartial, channel neutral, strategic digital advice for clients at both business and channel performance levels,” said Crawford.
“Similarly, there are many digital agencies whose owners need input, advice and guidance with their planning and growth strategies as their business reaches a certain size and level of maturity, requiring more structure and discipline around the way their business is run.”
The Digital Strategy Unit is already working with Leeds-based strategy and commercial consultants Whitecap Consulting.
