Brandon revamps Mega Marshmallows brand


Wilmslow’s Brandon has refreshed the Mega Marshmallows brand for leading UK confectionary manufacturer IB Group.

The brand design consultancy has developed a new identity and packaging design to “drive more American nostalgia and warmth into the brand”.

Abigail Taylor, Creative Partner at Brandon, said: “We had the opportunity to have some fun and ramp up the American heritage that we all know and love. Our design inspiration was now only drawn from the US national flag where we used the stars and stripes, but also from the fun and playfulness of American sports typography.

“The type that you’d expect to see on the back of American Football jackets in the 1960’s and 70s. That Grease era that we all know and love. We simply amplified the brand assets and made them more relevant to the product and people’s love of great American traditions like marshmallows by the campfire.”

Helen Bradshaw at IB Group added: “Brandon have smashed it out of the park, a new Mega Marshmallows identity and packaging design that not only heightens quality perceptions but also drives more warmth and emotion into the brand. It now jumps out of the fixture and screams American heritage.”
