New Mediaworks Account Director to lead expansion in the North West

Ex-Big Brand Ideas figure Chris Jevons has been appointed by independent digital marketing agency Mediaworks to lead client services for all its North West clients as Account Director.

The agency, which has 190 staff across offices in Newcastle, Leeds, Edinburgh, Manchester, London and as MWi in Dublin, is currently expanding its North West presence and has put Jevons at the forefront.

Jevons was formerly Senior Account Manager at Big Brand Ideas, where he had worked since 2017.

Mediaworks’ regional expansion follows recent partnerships with brands including Leisure Lakes Bikes – recently acquired by JD Sports – Johnnie Johnson Housing, and United Utilities.

“Manchester’s agency scene is as vibrant as ever and I’m excited to be able to be at the centre of such a well-established agency’s growth in this area,” said Jevons.

“The vision and ambition for Mediaworks is one that was too good to ignore. The agency is now closing in on 200 staff across its sites in the UK and Ireland and I’m thrilled to be at the forefront of that growth here in Manchester.”
