Aldi teases Christmas campaign with coke, carrots and a cliff-hanger


McCann UK has completed the latest Aldi Christmas campaign, with the return of Kevin the Carrot.

So far it’s only teasing what’s to come, with a lorry not dissimilar to one used by a soft drink’s company and the quote:

“He’s just a humble carrot who stole the nation’s heart. Overcoming adversity, Kevin the Carrot finally found true love. But the question is will he survive another perilous Christmas adventure? Only time will tell…”

The campaign was ordered by Aldi’s marketing director, Adam Zavalis and marketing manager, Ian Lewis.

McCann’s Dave Price was the executive creative director, while Neil Lancaster was creative director.

The media planning and buying was done by UM Manchester, with the commercial produced by Psyop and directed by Todd Mueller and Kylie Matulick.
