Manchester-based Refinery Marketing Communications has revealed its new TV ad campaign for shoe retailer Deichmann UK.

The branding and communications agency has worked with Deichmann to promote its new ‘Back to School’ campaign as school children prepare to head back to the classroom.

It has worked on a range of elements for the campaign including TVC, social videos, in-store radio and POS, and still imagery for social media and online use.

The agency initially secured the campaign last year but it was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Nick Bradshaw, Refinery CEO, said: “This brief has been wonderful to work on, from start to finish. The clients have allowed us to be brave and have supported us all the way.

“12 months ago we thought the campaign would never see the light of day, and the whole agency was delighted when the client called us earlier this year to confirm they were going ahead with it.”

Deichmann Senior Marketing Manager, Josephine Soei, added: “We had appointed Refinery because their creative recommendations perfectly answered our brief; we were disappointed not to have been able to run the TVC last year, but in hindsight we have been presented with better amplification this year and we are delighted with the output, as well as its performance so far.”
