Manifest Manchester toasts hard seltzer brand win

Hard seltzer brand DRTY Drinks has appointed Manifest Manchester to handle its UK PR, social, event and creative content on a retained basis.

Manifest has been handed an omni-channel brand communications brief covering the entire marketing spectrum for DRTY.

The brand was co-founded in 2019 by Matija Pisk and Oli Clements, who identified a gap in the UK market following the US success of hard selzters, which are made with an alcohol base, sparkling water and natural flavours.

The drinks are sugar-free and carbohydrate-free and are stocked by retailers including Amazon, Whole Foods and Ocado, as well as from their own site.

Manifest, which opened its Manchester office late last year and has other bases in London, New York and Stockholm, has already run campaigns for the likes of BrewDog, Chivas Brothers, Innis & Gunn and Most Wanted Wines.

Oli Clements, co-founder at DRTY Drinks, added: “One of the reasons we created DRTY is that we felt that things in the drinks industry had become too self-serious, a tad pretentious and, to be honest, a bit boring. 

“We’re excited to bring Manifest on board as our creative agency partner as we know they have an incredible track record with challenger brands with the likes of BrewDog and Virgin.”
