Tech platform, Travel Counsellors has named David Jack as its new Chief Technology Officer.

He takes up the role with immediate effect, joining from Tunstall Healthcare, where he had the same title.

Jack has previously held senior tech roles at Trainline, Metapack and dunnhumby.

At the UK’s largest and fastest-growing travel entrepreneur tech platform, he’ll be responsible for developing its proprietary global technology stack and digital infrastructure.

He succeeds Jon Bauer, who left the businesses earlier this month, after almost 6 years as CTO.

I’ve been lucky to work with some brilliant people over the last six years and I leave with a lot of friendships as well as professional relationships,” said Bauer.

“As for what comes next, I’m still working that out.

“I’m going to take a bit of time, have some conversations and keep an open mind. That could mean another executive role, working with businesses on transformation, technology, product, AI and data, some advisory work, or potentially building something myself.”
