Oasis’s newly announced 20-date UK tour could see fans spend more than £693.3m beyond the cost of their tickets, according to new analysis from Novuna Personal Finance.
Across an estimated 1.32 million attendances, fans could spend an average of £525.20 each on food and drink, shopping, travel, merchandise and accommodation, based on spending patterns identified around the band’s 2025 reunion tour.
Manchester would account for the largest share of spending at £346.6m, followed by Knebworth at £189.1m and Glasgow at £157.6m. Together, food and drink and further spending around the show would account for more than £380m of the total.
Across 11 nights at the Etihad Stadium, around 660,000 attendances could be associated with £346.6m of non-ticket spending – 50% of the total across the UK tour.
Four nights at Knebworth Park could account for around 360,000 attendances and £189.1m of non-ticket spending, representing 27.3% of the total.
Five nights at Celtic Park could account for around 300,000 attendances and £157.6m of non-ticket spending, or 22.7% of the total.
The figures point to the scale of spending that follows a major stadium tour beyond the ticket itself, with hospitality, travel and wider consumer spending accounting for the majority of the projected total.

“With 11 nights in Manchester alone, you’re talking about hundreds of thousands of people spending money on food and drink, travel, hotels, shopping and merchandise. Knebworth and Glasgow will see the same effect. It’s a huge opportunity for local businesses and shows just how much a major tour like this can contribute to the wider economy.”
Speaking as someone who would rather cut off his own ears than go to see Oasis for the first time since the early 90s, but whose wife has registered for tickets regardless, and thus may be given little option, I’d be getting the tram and booking no hotels, although three or four pints while profusely complaining will at least add a small bonus to the national total.
