Following successful launches across Greater Manchester, Liverpool City Region and the North East, Prolific North is now bringing its GRAFT Regional Tech Champions initiative to West Yorkshire to spotlight the people, businesses and ideas driving one of the UK’s fastest-growing tech ecosystems.
Backed by accountancy firm BHP, the Yorkshire edition will feature a dedicated editorial series over the next 12 months, exploring the strengths, opportunities and challenges shaping the region’s tech sector.
The series will examine everything from high-growth sectors and investment activity to talent, start-up, spin-out and scale-up ambitions, as well as the region’s long-term potential. It comes as West Yorkshire continues to strengthen its reputation as a leading tech hub, with the government recognising the region as a ‘world leader’ in tech and AI.

Alongside the editorial series, Prolific North will host an invite-only roundtable later this year, followed by a breakfast event in 2027, bringing together founders, investors and ecosystem leaders to discuss some of the tech sector’s burning topics.
