By the book – literacy partnerships drive growth at Manchester kids’ IP producer

Manchester-based Green Bean Studios has recorded record sales in April and May of 2026 after a pair of literature-themed partnerships helped push its is commercial performance to new heights.

Over the past 12 months, Green Bean Studios has delivered projects with Wigan Council as part of its World Book Day celebrations, formed a partnership with the National Literacy Trust and returned to the BBC on multiple occasions to showcase its work promoting literacy and creativity.

The team has also completed the Help to Grow management programme, supporting the next stage of the company’s own strategic development, while continuing work on major edutainment partnerships.

Alongside the commercial growth, Green Bean Studios has continued to raise its profile across the early years sector and business communities. Founder Anita Frost has shared her entrepreneurial journey through business-themed, Brabners-sponsored podcast The True North Conversations, while the business has featured as part of International Women’s Day celebrations recognising female business leaders.

Following Green Bean Studios’ success in a business awards programme led by “big four” accounting and finance services provider KPMG, KPMG continues to back the company as it aims for continued brand expansion through rising demand for the creative learning products it specialises in.

Founded by Frost in 2020, Green Bean Studios is a multi-award-winning children’s IP entertainment production company promoting sustainability, learning through play, and a love of outdoor adventures. The brand has expanded its retail offerings, building on the success of its popular collectable children’s book series, the Green Bean Collection, to develop a range of educational eco toys and games.

Since launch, developing children’s entertainment productions has been at the forefront of the team’s plans. Earlier this year, Green Bean Studios released the demo of its first children’s music album, Time To Dance, and it currently has an animated children’s TV series in development.
