Manchester agency to support Scottish consultancy’s cross-border growth spurt

PR, influencer and social media agency Smoking Gun has been appointed by multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy Harley Haddow to support its profile building across the UK.

The appointment for press office, media relations and campaigns follows a competitive pitch process and marks a significant addition to Smoking Gun’s expanding B2B portfolio.

The Manchester agency will be working with Harley Haddow to raise awareness of the consultancy’s expertise across mechanical, electrical, building performance, structural and civil engineering, heritage projects, retrofit and sustainable design.

Smoking Gun will also shine a spotlight on the firm’s growing footprint across England, with offices in London and Manchester alongside its established Scottish bases in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fort William and Inverness.

Harley Haddow was established in a single-room Edinburgh office by Tom Harley-Haddow in 1950, High-profile commissions have included Moray House College of Education in Edinburgh, King’s College Tower in Aberdeen, Edinburgh’s Meadowbank Stadium, which was built for the city’s Commonwealth Games in the seventies, and the extension to the Scottish capital’s St Mary’s Cathedral.
