A Harrogate-based marketing agency has claimed it is aiming to become the “last agency businesses will ever hire” as it outlines plans to challenge traditional agency models.
Audience, which is part of TIM Group Holdings, says it is different from typical agencies by tying marketing outcomes directly to revenue and profitability – and by offering clients access to in-house expertise in scaling and exiting businesses.
The agency reports a 130% year-on-year growth rate and claims 100% staff retention. Audience says it’s the only marketing agency with access to an in-house business brokerage — Intelligent — allowing clients to scale and exit “under one roof.” Through its parent company TIM Group, the agency adds that clients can tap into insight from business leaders who’ve scaled companies to exit values of more than £300 million.
Its client list includes Garden Trading, Express Bi-Folding Doors and Weetons, with the agency claiming to have delivered “millions in incremental revenue”.
Managing Director Ollie Ratcliffe, previously named Brand Marketer of the Year in 2022, said: “Businesses today don’t just need marketing, they need partners who understand business and can support them through the full lifecycle.”
He added the agency’s focus was not on short-term delivery but on uncovering deeper growth opportunities that lead to sustainable results.
Audience describes itself as a “serious challenger” in the agency space, with ambitions to reshape how agencies operate and deliver value.
