Bauer Media Audio have confirmed that the Simon “Rossie” Ross’ breakfast show will expand into Scotland from the end of July.
The move comes as Ewen Cameron and Cat Harvey leave the station next month. The pair have hosted the breakfast show in Scotland since 2020, broadcasting live from the Radio Clyde studios in Glasgow.
Rossie’s Greatest Hits at Breakfast is already the UK’s most listened to commercial Breakfast show, with more than 3m listeners across England and Wales.
“We’re delighted to announce today that listeners in Scotland will be able to hear the UK’s most listened to commercial Breakfast show – Greatest Hits at Breakfast,” said Gary Stein, Director of Audio.
“Rossie is a hugely experienced broadcaster who has been part of the Greatest Hits Radio family from the very start and I know he can’t wait to get started. My thanks to Ewen and Cat for all their hard work and everything they’ve contributed to our station. I wish them the best of luck for the future.”
It’s not been revealed where Cameron and Harvey are headed next, apart from Bauer saying it’s a “new opportunity.”

However, it does coincide with a former boss becoming STV Radio’s Programme Director and the new station’s hunt for presenting talent. Cameron did host a number of shows for STV between 2011 and 2018.
Programme Director, David Treasurer was the Managing Editor at Global Radio in Scotland and Programme Controller at Real Radio Scotland – where they all worked together.
