Certas Energy has hired a new PR agency through The GO! Network as it seeks to move commercial industries to Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) and net zero.
Democracy has been retained to work across PR and social media and it’s also been briefed to raise the profile of the company across key sectors.
“This is about delivering positive change and HVO is challenging perceptions about how companies can make that change. Certas Energy’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in energy aligns perfectly with our mission to help challenge industries to think differently,” stated Jennifer O’Grady, Head of Agency at Manchester based Democracy.
Certas explained that almost every commercial vehicle can operate on pure HVO or a blend of HVO and diesel without requiring mechanical changes. As an alternative to regular diesel it’s capable of reducing total emissions “by up to 90%.”
