Yorkshire’s tech scaleups are invited to attend an exclusive event, Tech Growth Forum, on Wednesday the 23rd October at the Redondo Bar, Headrow House, Leeds.
The Tech Growth Forum, hosted by DTP Group, is on a mission to connect tech scaleups with enterprise businesses, giving them the insights, inside secrets and a support network to turn a promising product into an enterprise-ready solution.
Event attendees will hear from startup leaders who’ve successfully landed enterprise clients and discover tips from enterprises around what they look for in pitch decks and sales conversations when talking to scaleups.
Hosted by leading business coach, Sean Sankey, and hearing from speakers from the likes of Asda, Burberry and Hedgehog Lab, the event offers Yorkshire’s scaleups a chance to connect, network and take away actionable advice from fellow founders and potential partners.
The event is ideal for businesses who believe their tech is ‘enterprise ready’ and want to get noticed by big brands.
The launch of the Tech Growth Forum comes as the region continues to shine in the spotlight, competing with other areas such as London and Manchester. Leeds Digital Festival Director Stuart Clarke MBE hailed the city as a leading destination for international tech firms, and the third iteration of the annual Yorkshire Tech Climbers list found that Sheffield was also climbing up the ranks as a hub for startups.
Howard Hall, managing director, from DTP Group commented: “We’re delighted to launch our inaugural Tech Growth Forum event, establishing a brand-new community to support scaleups on their own growth journeys.
“We’re bringing together established businesses who’ve been there and done that to delve into the story of their growth, with big brands who know exactly what they’re looking for, to present scaleups with the opportunity to turn their promising product into a solution that’s ready to step up in the market.
“I’m really looking forward to being in the room and seeing the great energy that I know Yorkshire’s tech sector can bring to the table and coming away with plenty of actionable insights to help the sector continue to thrive.”
