ITV has released a promo for its new gameshow, hosted by Andrew Flintoff.
Cannonball is produced by Potato and is based on an international format from Talpa, where contestants face inflatable obstacles and water challenges.
Flintoff will be joined by a presenting line-up of Frankie Bridge, Blue Peter’s Radzi Chinyanganya, Maya Jama and comedian, Ryan Hand.
Each show will see 24 contestants attempt the challenges, with the winners going head-to-head in a final.
The format originated in the Netherlands and has also been sold in Australia.
“We’re thrilled that our exciting water battle has found a home at ITV together with Potato. The fun, summer vibe of the show has already made the format a great success in Australia and The Netherlands, and we’re looking forward to announcing more territories where Cannonball will make a splash soon,” said Maarten Meijs, director of Talpa.
The first episode is broadcast on Saturday night at 7pm.
