York-based brand and marketing consultancy Ideas Group has delivered a video toolkit for The Supply Chain Network.

The toolkit is aimed at micro and SME food and drink businesses in the East Riding, York and North Yorkshire, and hopes to help them become the next big local brand, alongside established favourites such as Yorkshire Tea and KitKat.

The Supply Chain Network and North Yorkshire Growth Hub wanted to create a set of videos to inspire and guide small businesses and provide the knowledge, understanding and practical tools to confidently grow their business and make it to the next level, whether they’re brewing in a utility room, making jam in the garage or diversifying into fava bean snacks from a Wolds farm.

Ideas Group were invited to tender, and ultimately commissioned, bringing their creative and project management expertise. Developing the toolkit name and visual identity, storyboards, scripts, partner liaison and then filming and producing the five videos.

She said: “We needed a partner who understood the needs of the businesses and could bring stand out creative ideas and a collaborative, hands on approach to deliver the project. We are really pleased to now offer such an inspiring and practical resource for all those brilliant, innovative micro and small businesses out there.”
