US automotive firm appoints Fox ahead of global launch

Michigan-based automotive group, PHINIA, has appointed Fox Agency, to help its worldwide launch.

The solutions and components provider debuted on the New York Stock Exchange earlier this month, following its spin-out from BorgWarner

PHINIA has a turnover of $3.4bn and almost 13k staff across 44 locations, it has recruited Leeds-based Fox to handle its global roll-out, including creating brand assets, collateral, videos and social content. It will also create and coordinate internal communications.

“This is an exciting launch for everyone concerned with PHINIA as we begin a new chapter as an independent business,” said Kevin Price, Global Brand and Communication Director, PHINIA, Inc.

“When choosing Fox Agency, we needed an experienced, integrated partner who we could rely on to act as an extension of our team; with the expertise and can-do attitude required to help deliver a successful launch.”

The company focuses on fuel systems, electrical systems, and aftermarket solutions for global automotive, commercial vehicle, off-highway, and industrial markets, as well as leading on innovation into alternative fuels to enable carbon-free solutions for combustion engines.

“Working on PHINIA has been a great demonstration of the power of integrated comms and marketing, involving multiple individuals and skillsets across the agency,” explained Lottie West, Global Head of PR at Fox Agency.

“Seeing the culmination of this work on the first day of trading at the NYSE from branding through to media engagement was enormously exciting, and we look forward to a bright future working with PHINIA.”
