As CEO of The Insights Family, Richardson saw it achieve revenues in excess of £4m. He also led it through a £5.6m funding round, led by BGF last year. He’s since taken on a new role as CEO of its TIF Labs operation, which focuses on acquisitions, future partnerships and developing new tech and data innovations.
He received an honorary doctorate from the university in 2022 and also sits on its Industry Advisory Board.
“This is fantastic news for our students who will benefit from Nick’s laser sharp entrepreneurial spirit and his experience in setting up and growing substantial businesses,” said Carol Brown, Head of University of Greater Manchester’s Business School.
“This is the latest development in our strategy to strengthen Greater Manchester Business School as an accessible business school, where students learn about enterprise through practice.”
