The Insights Family has announced a £5.6m funding round, led by BGF.
BGF has put £5m into the Manchester business, with further cash coming from DSW – the venture capital arm of Dow Schofield Watts.
“We have achieved a lot in a relatively short period but having the support of BGF will enable us to significantly accelerate all parts of our business and to firmly establish ourselves as the global leader in the next generation of market intelligence on the next generation of consumers,” said Nick Richardson, Founder of The Insights Family.
“Having the backing of an experienced investor such as BGF, is an exciting validation of our commitment to reaching this goal.”
Richardson set up the company in 2017 and it’s since become a global leader in real-time insights and trends, with a client base across 6 continents and 22 countries. It’s surveyed 2.3m kids and parents, collecting 2.7bn+ data points.
