Minster FM in York has become the first of UKRD’s 16 local radio stations to appoint its own dedicated commercial copywriter, Tom Woods, currently Bauer’s head of creative across its Yorkshire stations.
Woods takes up his new role in April.
Minster’s decision to take on its on its own dedicated writer, follows the appointment in February of Mike Bersin in a newly-created role as advertising creative director across all of UKRD’s stations.
UKRD is based in Cornwall.
Sister station Stray FM in Harrogate is the second UKRD station currently recruiting for its own dedicated commercial writer and Prolific North understands that 2BR/The Bee in Burnley is hoping to recruit in May, with other stations to follow.
