Transport for Greater Manchester is on the hunt for a media planning and buying agency.
It has issued a notification to state that it was “seeking to engage with experienced media planning and buying agencies to inform the development of its procurement strategy and service specification.”
It said that the contract value would be worth up to £6m over 3 years, starting in October 2027.
The notice added:
“TfGM anticipates requiring the appointed agency to have access to audience segmentation and targeting tools capable of identifying and reaching audiences across a range of criteria. Suppliers are invited to provide information on their current capabilities and innovative approaches, including their ability to target audiences based on socio-demographic characteristics, geographic location, transport mode, age, gender, ethnicity, and social or lifestyle interests, together with any additional segmentation capabilities they can offer.
“TfGM is interested in understanding the additional value and support that media planning and buying agencies can provide beyond core service delivery. Suppliers are invited to outline their experience of delivering services for public sector organisations and/or transport-related projects, together with any additional capabilities they could offer.”
The expression of interest window runs until midday on 4th September.
Republic of Media currently holds the media account.
