North East-based Shoptimised is on track for £1m in turnover in only its second year of trading.

The SaaS business, which provides feed management software for Google Shopping, works with ecommerce brands including END, SCS and Get The Label, as well as over 250 PPC agencies.

It’s recently won contracts with footwear retailer Schuh, Cotswolds Outdoors and Crocs.

The last confirmed financial year turnover for South Tyneside-based Shoptimised was £430,000, but it’s now on track to reach £1m and is targeting £2.5m by 2022.

John Cave, who co-founded the company with John Oram in 2018, said: “We’ve been incredibly fortunate not to have lost any staff and actually hired five new members during the pandemic and subsequent lockdown.

“We’ve adapted well to homeworking and will continue that indefinitely, and have begun hiring around the country so we can find the right specialists to join our business. As part of our ongoing growth some of the roles we want to fill will be European-based.”
