Multi-service creative agency StudioLWD has invested in its first office space as it looks to recruit two additional creatives in the coming months.

The Poulton-Le-Fylde based firm has signed a three-year lease with Mellor Holdings for a loft style suite within a period converted, city centre building, The Whitehouse.

Founded in 2012, the firm has worked with big brands including Virgin, Nike, Tesco, Aldi and British Council.

The new 1000 sq. ft. office space will allow for the firm to continue expanding its team, it said.

Creative Director and Founder Laura Weldon said she believes in bucking the trend for remote work.

“The last year has forced most teams to work remotely, and whilst flexibility was a benefit, many of us experienced isolation, loneliness and found it difficult to separate work and home life,” she said.

“Having spoken to the team about the idea of an office, I knew they were as keen as I was to find a new HQ.”

“We wanted somewhere that people we would all be happy to work in. The Whitehouse is the perfect space.”
